Cloud Gallery is a Canadian art gallery that sells direct-to-consumer online and has a physical showroom in downtown Orillia, Ontario.

Challenge

Cloud Gallery approached us in March 2021 wanting to build a hybrid SEO strategy. They wanted to attract online visitors for their direct-to-consumer e-commerce website and improve local SEO for in-person visits to their showroom.

We recommended a two-fold strategy to help Cloud Gallery reach more people in online search.

E-commerce SEO: We created and optimized collection pages for Ontario cottage locales, competitive keywords with high buying intent such as “buy Canadian art online,” as well as the names of the artists featured in the gallery.

Local SEO: We improved local SEO by optimizing Google My Business, building local citations, adding schema markup, and contact pages.

Results

Organic Traffic: Scaled organic monthly pageviews from 0 to 7,700 through targeted keyword optimization and quality content creation.

New Users: Achieved a consistent year-over-year increase in organic new users by 300% for three straight years, demonstrating sustained growth and engagement.
