Cloud Gallery is a Canadian art gallery that sells direct-to-consumer online and has a physical showroom in downtown Orillia, Ontario.

Cloud Gallery was starting their business and wanted a marketing strategy that supported online sales while also increasing awareness of their physical showroom among buyers who lived in or vacationed across cottage country in Ontario.

We reviewed Cloud Gallery’s full collection of artwork and developed a two-part strategy to raise awareness and reach the right buyers, both online and in person.

To bring more people into the showroom, we focused on improving how the gallery appeared in local search by updating their Google Business Profile, implementing a review strategy, strengthening local listings, and offering recommendations on press opportunities.

At the same time, we built and optimized artwork collection pages for popular Ontario cottage country destinations and created pages for each artist featured in the gallery, making it easier for people searching for Canadian art to discover the gallery, buy online, or plan a visit.

Results

The new strategy helped grow organic monthly pageviews from zero to over 7,700, improving the gallery’s online presence across Ontario and throughout Canada.

Beyond the initial growth, Cloud Gallery saw organic new users increase by roughly 300% year over year for three consecutive years, showing sustained momentum as more collectors discovered the gallery through search.
